History

Where we come from

Baukunst started in the 1990s in a small furniture warehouse, where models and competition entries took shape. It was a space for creativity, laying the foundation for a collaborative studio.

From student apartments to café discussions, ideas flowed through sketches. Great collaborators like José Manuel Fenollar “Feno” helped shape the “Taller de Arquitectura,” strengthening its identity and vision.

In 2012, Baukunst expanded to Brazil, taking on heritage conservation and cultural management projects across public institutions. These engagements exposed a clear gap: the cultural sector had complex data and operational needs, but almost no purpose-built digital tooling. By 2020, that gap had become the business — Baukunst fully committed to building digital platforms, integrating 3D capture, data pipelines, and web-based interfaces as core services.

Today, Baukunst is a digital services company for the cultural and public sector. We build 3D platforms, IoT dashboards, web applications, and brand identities — bringing the same obsession with craft that started in that furniture warehouse, now applied to software.
